Riddell Estate and Riddell Farms Administrative Assistant

2 -3 days per week with flexibility for additional hours if required

Office based at Riddell Estate, Lilliesleaf, Scottish Borders

Terms and conditions to be agreed


Role to include, but not limited to:

  • General office management and administration
  • Assistance with invoice processing
  • Assistance with maintaining livestock records using livestock management software
  • Assistance with record keeping and auditing of Riddell Farms organic status.

Key skills, capabilities and experience:

Required:

  • A strong understanding of agriculture
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of the wider estate team

Preferred:

  •  Understanding of Xero Accounting software
  • Familiarity with Scottish Government department of Agriculture reporting and returns
  • Experience of working in an SME business
  • Experience of working in a high compliance and regulatory environment
  • Awareness of charity administration and reporting requirements
  • Ability to work with suppliers and contractors
